H5P Interactive Content Samples
The interactive engagement layer we build into courses
What this page is: We built this in-house to show the delivery path end to end. It is a showcase, not a client engagement.
Samples of H5P interactive content — the engagement layer we build into courses and LMS platforms. H5P is an open-source content framework that runs inside Moodle, WordPress, LearnDash and most modern LMS platforms, and it reports results in xAPI, which is what makes it trackable rather than just decorative.
Content types we build
- Interactive video — questions and branch points inserted directly into the video timeline, so a learner has to engage rather than let it autoplay in the background
- Branching scenarios — decision-based training where the learner's choice at each step changes what they see next, useful for soft-skills and compliance training where the "right answer" is a judgement call rather than a fact
- Drag-and-drop and matching exercises — for material that is better tested by sorting or labelling than by multiple choice
- Quizzes and knowledge checks with immediate feedback per question, rather than a single score revealed at the end
Why this matters alongside a SCORM package
A course built only from static slides and a final quiz tends to get clicked through rather than engaged with. H5P content sits inside the lesson itself — a video that pauses to ask a question, a scenario that branches on the learner's answer — so the interaction is part of the material, not an assessment bolted on afterwards. Every H5P interaction we build reports its own xAPI statement, so an LMS can track not just "did they finish the course" but "did they get this specific question right, on this attempt."

One practical note for anyone comparing content types: interactive video and branching scenarios take longer to author than a plain quiz, so we usually recommend spending that extra effort on the two or three points in a course where a wrong assumption is most costly — a safety step, a compliance judgement call — rather than spreading it evenly across every lesson.
