Cosmogyaan — Content Portal Concept

This is a self-built concept demo — not a client project — exploring how a content-heavy portal stays navigable once it holds hundreds of articles or lessons: a clear topic hierarchy, search treated as the primary way in rather than a fallback, and consistent breadcrumbing so a reader always knows where a piece of content sits.

What the demo works through

• A topic hierarchy shallow enough to browse (subject → topic → article) rather than a folder tree a reader has to memorise to use twice
• Search treated as a first-class entry point — most visitors to a large content library arrive looking for something specific, not browsing casually, so search has to be fast and forgiving of imprecise queries rather than an afterthought bolted onto the header
• Consistent breadcrumbing and "related content" links, so a reader who arrives at one article from a search engine can still find their way to adjacent material without going back to the homepage first

The name is a leftover from the astrology/knowledge-portal concept this was originally built against, but the interface problem it explores — a library that keeps growing and has to stay findable rather than just archived — applies to any large body of written content, course material included.

No real database of articles sits behind this demo — it was built and evaluated against a small set of placeholder content, enough to test whether the hierarchy and search held up, not to serve as a functioning content site.
