Learning Platform UI — Concept Demo
An early self-built concept demo of course navigation and progress UI — superseded by our real LMS work on Pragyanta, kept here for the interface-design record.
What this page is: A concept demo we designed in-house to explore this problem space. It is not a client project.
This is a self-built UI concept demo — not a client project — exploring course navigation, lesson progress and quiz interaction patterns. It predates and is separate from Pragyanta, our actual live learning platform; that is the real proof of our LMS delivery, this is kept as an earlier interface-design exercise, and we leave it live for the SEO history rather than pretending the work never happened.
What the exercise worked through
- A course sidebar that shows progress at the module and lesson level at once, without the learner losing their place when they jump between sections
- Lesson-to-lesson navigation that makes clear what's locked, what's next, and what's already complete — a simple state to describe and a surprisingly easy one to get visually ambiguous
- A quiz interaction pattern (question, answer, immediate feedback, retry) kept consistent across question types instead of each quiz type getting its own layout
What changed between this exercise and Pragyanta wasn't the visual language so much as the plumbing behind it: real SCORM/xAPI tracking reporting attempts and scores back to a database, actual enrolment and cohort management, and an AI tutor answering from the course content — none of which a front-end mockup can demonstrate on its own.

We've left this page live rather than removing it, partly for continuity and partly because it's an honest record: this was our thinking about course UI before Pragyanta existed, and comparing the two is a fair way to see how the approach matured once real tracking and real learners were involved.
